We couldn't agree more with guru Chef Thomas Keller, Proprietor of The French Laundry, Per Se, Bouchon, Bouchon Bakery and Ad Hoc. So here's our stab at festive fun using a wooden cutting / serving board. The 'Gobble Gobble' is ready to serve up that succulent roast turkey this Christmas. Based on taxidermy mounts, these hardwood boards are ideal for all food preparation and display. Rest meat, cut it, serve it or simply have on the table sharing tapas or various cheese combinations.
We've also played around with personalising it and have come up with 'Trophy Husband' (ladies favourite), 'Champion Dad' (great Father's Day present), 'Norfolk's Finest' (obvs) and personalised for families enjoying traditional Sunday roasts, with the family's surname emblazoned on the surface.
It's a fun way to enjoy food and as you choose to make it your own or personal to someone you know, it can also be highly entertaining. That's a good thing.
