Care Instructions
Take good care
Our products are made to last a lifetime. But - much like us - they’ll need a bit of TLC along the way. These care guides will be sent with your item but we’ve popped them here too for reference – they may even come in handy for other items in your home.
Leather Love
With a little bit of care, leather ages beautifully with use. And you don't need lots of fancy equipment just a soft cloth and leather polish.
Clean them gently: Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials to clean leather. Instead, use a soft cloth or brush to gently remove any dirt or grime. For tougher stains, you can use a leather cleaner, but be sure to test it on a small, inconspicuous area first.
Bronze Buffing
Our solid bronze sculptures are finished to a beautiful shiny patina that will last a lifetime with gentle care.
Tips for cleaning bronze sculptures:
Buff from time to time with a soft dry cloth.
Gently remove any dust or dirt on the surface with a soft-bristled brush (a clean toothbrush is perfect) or a dry, lint-free cloth.
Clean with a soft cloth dipped in warm water with a gentle, non-abrasive cleaner, such as mild dish soap or a specially formulated bronze cleaner (be careful not to scrub or apply too much pressure).
Rinse thoroughly with clean water, making sure all traces of cleaner are removed.
Dry bronze with a soft, lint-free cloth or towel, taking care not to scratch the surface or leave any water marks.
Apply a thin layer of wax (Brasso will do the job) or protective coating to the sculpture to help preserve its shine and prevent tarnishing.
Steel Shining
Steel is made to last forever. Keep it at its shiny, timeless best with regular cleaning.
Tips for keeping your steel sparkling:
Clean after each use to remove any dirt or debris from use.
Use warm water and a cloth or soft-bristled brush to gently scrub the surface with mild soap or detergent. Avoid using anything abrasive.
Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue. Then dry with a clean cloth or paper towel to prevent any bacteria or odours from developing.
Store steel items in a clean and dry container or bag, in a place where they won't be exposed to direct sunlight, moisture or humidity.
Don’t forget to keep your steel ice cubes in the freezer ready to pop straight into your drink.
