How about making your mark on Christmas Day with a genuinely great gift for everyone presented in your own Christmas Cracker?
Dating back to the 1840's British sweet maker Tom Smith was inspired by French bon bons, returning to London to sell his sweets along with a small motto or riddle inside. The idea to add a spark or crack sound came from a fireside thought. Surely it would be more fun if sweets and toys could be opened with a bang when their fancy wrappers were pulled in half. His sons continued the business introducing new gifts and hats into the mix.
Our love of crackers continues and we can certainly make or theme them any which way we want. Try our smaller gifts to make the perfect cracker for someone special this Christmas. Pinterest, Martha Stewart and Jamie Oliver have some good how-tos going.
